Morning friends, In this next year I want to do something a little different in this blog.
In addition to answering a reader’s question (which I love to do and won’t stop), I’d also like to start addressing some other issues in helping you to understand yourself, other people, how to have healthy relationships and recognize destructive ones.
Essentially this means the i Phone or i Pad will be bricked and unusable until it can be restored or successfully updated with i Tunes and a computer.
Update: Apple has apparently fixed the problem with the OTA update.
Upon connecting the bricked device to i Tunes, you may encounter the following message alert: “There is a problem with the i Phone “(Device Name)” that requires it to be updated or restored.
The problem may be fixed by updating your i Phone, which preserves your settings and content.
When I first started to travel long-term, people asked me what I was running away from, wondered why I wanted to be gone so long, and would mostly tell me I was crazy or weird.
Suffice it to say, I didn’t get a lot of encouragement and support in the beginning.

My “guilt, shame and self-blame button” was very sensitized. That is why I don’t see them; because I finally understood that I mattered ~ even if I only mattered to me.
My parents had their whole lives to make a positive difference when it came to me. I finally mattered enough that I stood up to the way that they treated me and said “no more”. Why doesn`t anyone ever ask my parents when they are going to give ME a break?
It’s all in the voice infliction; the tone they use and I used to react to that tone in the way that I reacted to it when I was a kid.
That tone was meant to snap me back to compliant and ‘respectful’ and it worked on me.
